Road to the Market

The Black Market in Ulaanbaatar is the largest market in Asia, and it is suggested westerners avoid it. We had some interesting experiences there, and met other westerners as foolish as ourselves. Busses don't go to the market, making it necessary to walk this dusty road for access. Probably thousands of stalls offer everything from hardware, vegetables and meat, dry goods, imitation name-brand products and almost anything you could imagine is for sale in the warren of narrow passageways where one does not take photographs.
